| Strengths: |
Solid build, plenty of connection and set-up options including variable power and crossover setting.
Real floor shaking sound, when working upstairs I can't hear what my kids are watching, but I can feel it! |
| Weaknesses: |
Niggles only. Front grille is soft cloth, this is only a problem if like me you have small children who like hammering everything in sight with wooden bricks to see what sound it makes (like the woofer) the Sub lives behind my fire guard for protection.
Power switch is deep in the back and hard to find, again not a problem if you hook it up to the mains out on your Amp. |
| Overall: |
A cracking sub, nicely finished to match in with the rest of the speakers in the range, unlike some where you seem to have a choice on satelite finishes and you can have the sub in any colour so long as it's black. With the smaller 1010 book shelf speakers it realy supliments the bass nicely to produce a rich sound, with the 1030s I have it compliments and enhances the bass beutifully. |
