As with the 1010 this is a well build speaker for the price and serves well for home cinema surround sound. With CD music performance is a marked improvement on the 1010 and would be adequate for listening to the occasional CD. |

Playing CD music sound is a little flat, OK it's realy for video and not music, so it's a harsher test but performance was acceptable (to my ears at least) |

I listened to these in the shop and compared them to the 1010 & 1030 as front speakers, primarily for home cinema but also for music. The Q-accoustics quality certainly gives the impression they've thought hard how to produce a good quality speaker. For cinema they were excelent, not so good on music but much better than the 1010s. As I have said playing CD music is an unfair test but they did well, if my budget was tighter I would have gone home with a pair of these and been very happy, but then I tried the 1030s. |
