The Terms & Conditions below apply to any customer placing orders with us:
Ownership
Ownership of goods will belong to the original purchaser only and any communications will only be through HiFi Cables Direct and the original purchaser.
General
A placement of an order by internet, Telephone, E-mail or Mail indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please take time to read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
Our acceptance of your order is complete when we dispatch your order and we then charge your card. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We may refuse to accept an order where the goods are not available, or we can not obtain authorisation from your card, or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
Cancellation of an Order
In line with the distance selling regulations 2000 you are required to send notice of cancellation if you wish to cancel your order with us within seven working days, you can E-mail us at sales@hificablesdirect.com before we have dispatched the goods or where the goods have already been dispatched, by returning them to us. Please state your order number and name in all cases. Please see our Returns Policy in the Help & Info section.
Please be aware that (Business – Business) transactions are not covered by this act.
Product & Pricing
All prices on our website are shown including delivery and VAT at its current rate, unless the order is below £25 then a small charge of £3.95 is added at the checkout to cover the postage.
We advise all customers to retain their packaging in the event you have to return the product for any reason.
Special order items like speaker cables and AV Racks are made to order and are Non-returnable unless found to be faulty.
Availability
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If the goods cannot be supplied as requested within a reasonable amount of time we may offer a similar product or will offer a refund if you wish to cancel. We can not be held responsible for any loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of goods if they are delivered in a reasonable period of time.
Payment
HiFi Cables Direct accepts most credit/debit cards through our online secure payment gateway including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Electron & Delta.
You must supply us with an acurate billing address and telephone number, that must be the address held by the card company as incorrect information may cause delay in delivery.
We only take payment from your card when the goods have been dispatched.
If you send payment by Cheque please allow 7 working days for the cheque to clear.
Pricing & Product Errors
In the unliky event that a product has been withdrawn or discontinued or a price listed on the website is incorrect we reserve the right to refuse the sale of said product at the incorrect price.
Delivery
We endeavour to deliver all goods within the times stated but sometimes delays are out of our control, we will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivery of goods if they are delivered within a reasonable period of time.
Claims
Shortages, damages and incorrect goods should be reported to Hi-Fi Cables Direct within 72hours from receipt of delivery by Telephone or E-mail.
