About Us

Hi-fi Cables Direct Limited was founded in 2003 by Husband and wife Derek & Joanne Brown and business partner John Morgan. All coming from different backgrounds, all with a love of Hi-fi and Home Cinema and music.

John previously spending 5 years designing, creating and installing home cinema and Hi-fi systems for East Anglia’s largest electrical retailer, then choosing to ‘go it alone’ with Derek and Joanne.

Derek coming from his own company previously installing kitchens, bathrooms and home automation systems.

Our core business is Hi-fi, home cinema and custom installations, obviously with this kind of business we are used to recommending and selecting not only the right cable for the job, but accessories as well.

Natural progression from this was to start an online company to support the custom install side and Hi-fi Cables Direct was born.
